CDP Celebrates 45 Years of Promoting Comprehensive Youth Wellness
Cheers to 45 years of promoting youth mental health! Thank you to everyone who attended CDP's 45th Anniversary on May 2nd at the Robinson Theater.
With the Honorable Cynthia I. Newbille, Ph.D. as our keynote speaker and Zach Daniel as our host, we proudly recognized the enduring vision of our retired co-founders – Dan Stembridge and Dr. Dennis Hawley – as well as the extraordinary service of our first development director, Denise Barnes.
Since 1980, our mission has been to promote social and emotional wellness for youth and their families in Greater Richmond through school-based and community programs focused on preventing and addressing issues related to behavioral health, bullying, substance use, and trauma.
Every contribution to the event and its auction supported the continued sustainability of CDP’s social and emotional learning, outpatient behavioral health counseling, and substance use therapy initiatives for youth in Richmond’s East End.
Many thanks to our generous sponsors.
